Job Purpose

The Talent and Leadership Development Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation and management of talent development and leadership programs within the organization. This position is responsible for administrative tasks that facilitate the smooth operation of programs designed to enhance employee skills, foster career growth, and cultivate leadership potential. The Specialist will collaborate with HR and department leaders to collect data, track progress, and assist in various training and development initiatives.
 

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Assist in the coordination and administration of talent and leadership development programs.
•    Schedule and organize training sessions, workshops, and seminars, ensuring all logistical arrangements are made.
•    Prepare training materials, participant guides, and resources for program facilitators and participants. 
•    Coordinate logistics for external training sessions, including booking venues, arranging travel, and coordinating with instructors or facilitators.
•    Ensure all necessary technology and equipment are available for training sessions and workshops.
•    Assist in managing vendor relationships related to training and development services.
•    Assess development needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, Leadership Steering committees and consultation with line managers, instructors and client representatives.
•    Ensure an approved method is used in determining in needs analysis, curriculum design, material development and delivery of modules and programs. 
•    Implement the onboarding training of new employees in the enterprise. 
•    Support external training request and coordinate with the approved Vendor as needed. 
•    support all training records and adhere to procedure.  
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Maintain and manage databases related to talent and leadership initiatives, including participant records, training evaluations, and program effectiveness metrics.
•    Collect and analyze data related to training attendance and participant feedback to support program improvements.
•    Assist in tracking the progress of talent development initiatives and maintaining reports for management review.
•    Support the development and maintenance of the Mandatory Induction Training, core competencies course materials to meet program needs and ensure they remain aligned to current best practice as informed by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders.
Talent and leadership programs: Communication and Engagement
•    Serve as a point of contact for employees seeking information about talent development programs and resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Behavioral Science or Business administration 

Experience

3 years of relevant experience.

Pref - 

•    Post graduate degree in Commerce, Behavioral Science or Business administration 
•    10 years of relevant experience
•    Master’s Degree in Business, Arts, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Effectiveness, Industrial Psychology or Any of the Social Sciences, Education/Academia 
•    10 years in the commercial nuclear industry or in talent and leadership development positions.
Experience with development of initial and continuing leadership programs including Executive leadership program, middle manager programs and first line leaders.
