Job Purpose
Participate, on behalf of Operations, in the work management process to ensure that OPS perspective and requirements are built into the online or outage work that needs to be executed by the plant. This includes coordination of required surveillances and ensuring that any required constraints are built into work week and outage plans.

Work Control Execution
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Set the priorities for plant work completion to ensure that plant safety and reliability are not compromised
•Collect input from the Operations shift and Operations Support organizations to understand the prioritization of work that needs to occur.
•Communicate, participate and actively engage in work week and outage planning meetings with Maintenance, Work Management and Outage Management organizations by representing the Operations department.
•Conduct walk downs of work in progress to ensure it is being performed to the schedule and is being accurately reported.
•Identify issues related to online and outage activities and recommend solutions as well as actively pursue the execution of these solutions with other departments.
Work Planning
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Coordinate the seamless transfer of data between the work planning system and the work scheduling system to enable timely scheduling of on-line maintenance and outage activities in the plant.
•Verify the integrity and accuracy of data used in the planning and scheduling systems including:coding and calendars to ensure error-free data transfer between systems.
Risk Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Identify, assess and manage risks associated with work management to minimize uncertainty and maximize safety.
•Participate in the overall risk management process under Operations, Work Management (WM), Engineering (ENG), Maintenance (MNT) and Outage Management (OUT) to minimize uncertainty and maximize safety.
Reports and Performance Indicators
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Develop ad-hoc reports required by Work Management or Outage Management to enable analysis, trending and understanding of unique and emergent issues.
•Verify production and accuracy of routine work control reports to ensure timely dissemination of information.
•Develop work control key performance indicators to support performance measurement.
Outage and Emergency Response Organization (ERO) Support
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Support outage and/or the ERO, as assigned, to ensure safe, reliable and continued operations; this may require shift work/off hours support
The incumbent is expected to perform standard activities as per attachments 4 & 5 in the Job Description procedure (relating to Health, Safety and Environment, Security and Business Continuity, People Management, Excellence and Quality Management

•5 years of relevant experience
Or equivalent as stated in the Job Description Procedure (HR-PRC-0004).

•Over 5 years of nuclear power plant experience.
•Holds or held an active Senior Reactor Operator Certification.
•6 months on-site experience at BNPP.
•Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering
•5 years of relevant experience
