Job Title: Senior Uranium Fuel Buyer
Job Purpose
To support in managing and providing accountability for the ENEC fleet’s uranium, conversion and EUP purchasing and other related activities including expediting, logistics, sourcing and prequalification.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Nuclear Fuel Procurement and Contract Administration
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Execute the day-to-day uranium, conversion and Enriched Uranium Product (EUP) procurement and other related activities which include (but not limited to): Sourcing and prequalification of bidders, Development of tender document, Administration of the tendering process, and Evaluation of bidders’ offers, facilitation of the negotiation process, development of the formal contract agreements To ensure alignment with the fuel procurement budget and the most optimum contract has been awarded.
• Supervise the suppliers throughout the execution phase from contract signing to contract closeout including invoicing, progress reporting, change orders, punch lists and formal closeout to ensure alignment with the signed awarded contract.
• Sometime at Barakah will be required to support meetings, workshops and fuel requirements activities

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Prepare progress reports, scheduling programs, expediting the day-to-day procurement activities to ensure accurate and continuous tracking
• Develop and conduct presentations to management to provide them with the required updates regarding the nuclear fuel needs and related activities
• Participating in and attending meetings with suppliers to build and maintain relationships with new companies, vendors and to obtain a better understanding on the new updates in the industry

Professional Certifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business or other related field
Pref - Master’s degree in engineering
Experience
5 years of relevant experience.
Pref - 5 years of experience procuring fuel at a utility or selling fuel related services or products at a fuel supplier
