Job Purpose

Develop, review, analyze and deliver technical training materials, topics, and programs related to Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). Apply the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process to lead and implement the technical training programs for the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). Technical training includes the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control, Radiation Protection, Chemistry and Engineering.

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:  
•    Perform analysis of technical training target audience, learning goals, technical requirements, training environment, and structural characteristics to establish instructional goals and objectives and identify the learning environment and learner’s existing knowledge and skills, so that resulting courses are effective. 
•    Assist in the development of and implement examination tools as well as develop training objectives to support the design of technical training material.
•    Develop, deliver and maintain technical training material that supports initial and continuing training.
•    Ensure Technical training programs used to train and qualify workers are based on the SAT and regulatory requirements, utilize effective resources, and meet station needs to ensure program success.
•    Verify the collection and maintenance of associated training and qualification records related to technical training programs to maintain consistent and up to date material. 
•    Conduct training on topics specific to a given technical discipline to build expertise across the organization.Technical Training Program Quality Improvement
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Participate benchmarks on external training on technical training topics to identify training improvement opportunities.
•    Analyze and evaluate Trainee Feedback and Management Observation comments to improve technical training implementation.
•    Conduct Post Training Evaluations to determine if trainees are using the knowledge gained and skills in their job position and how effectively they are being used.
•    Participate in self-assessments to identify training program improvement opportunities.Training Expertise and Support
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•    Develop and maintain discipline specific technical training schedules to support technical training implementation.
•    Incorporate input and revise content on required training facilities, mockups, materials and qualifications (as directed by the Head of Technical Training) to ensure effective technical training program implementation.
•    Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in training material development and implementation to ensure technical training program effectiveness.
•    Participate in Training Program Oversight Committee meetings to provide input regarding trainee performance during training and continuing training topic selection.

Qualifications

Min - 

High School Certification. 

Pref - 

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent

Experience

Min - 

•    5 years of relevant experience, out of which:
    3 months in a Nuclear Power Plant. 

•    Must have demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience. 
•    Shall have knowledge consistent with the content being presented.

Pref - 

•    7 years related experience, out of which: 
    5 years Nuclear Technical training experience. 
•    2 years Senior Instructor of a Technical discipline.
