Job Purpose

Manage, plan, develop, control and report project activities on site of Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) during the project lifecycle  and the interactions with all internal and external  stakeholders and contractors to manage and control of the project  activities and ensure the schedule of work is met. Act as a primary contact and coordinator between the Site Projects Team and the contractors selected to perform project front end loading, planning, installation, commissioning, and turn-over activities at Nawah Energy Company (Nawah). 

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:  
•    Act as a primary contact for fron-end loading, installation, commissioning and turn-over planning activities executed by the Site Projects’ Department and for all installation planning coordination with contractors and internal NAWAH plant Maintenance departments if required.
•    Provide oversight on all installation planning activities of assigned projects to ensure installation schedules are accurately developed, contain correct logic, durations and resources.
•    Ensure all installation activities are planned and scheduled in a timely manner as required per online maintenance and outage planning cycle milestones and that all installation pre-requisites are available on time.
•    Attend all constructability and operability review meetings related to assigned projects.
•    Monthly internal/external progress reports. 
•    Manage the relationship with the end user and third party/vendors Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Provide oversight of installation activities to ensure quality work per design requirements and nuclear and industrial safety, and to ensure installation work is performed as per the schedule and schedule deviations are identified, analyzed and recovery plans are initiated as required.
•    Establish and monitor metrics for installation to ensure project is moving as planned and to identify potential risks.
•    Monitor, identify, report and resolve installation work related issues such as but not limited to; engineering, safety, quality, schedule and cost.
•    Represent the project in daily plant schedule and turnover meetings as required.
•    Perform risk management using ARM to reduce/minimize project risk with proper actionsProvide oversight for all commissioning activities, ensuring that proper start-up processes are followed and properly documented.
•    Establish and monitor progress metrics for commissioning to ensure work progress is moving as planned and to identify potential risks.
•    Attend all commissioning meetings on behalf of the project as required.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Provide oversight for all turn-over activities, ensuring that all submitted documentation is complete and accepted by operations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related Science

Experience

5 years of relevant experience in installation of plant modifications in operating nuclear power plants
