Job Title: Senior Organizational Effectiveness Specialist
Job Purpose
Design and lead the implementation of the Leadership Effectiveness program and initiatives to support the Nawah Way through an aligned and effective leadership team that engages Nawah’s multicultural workforce to deliver operational excellence. Provide support to all aspects of the other Organizational Effectiveness (OR) work streams as needed.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Leadership Effectiveness Program
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Design and lead the implementation of the Leadership Effectiveness program to enhance the effectiveness of leadership teams.
• Provide support to the Nawah Leadership Team (NLT), to develop a cohesive and aligned team, which engages the workforce in pursuit of operational excellence.
• Provide coaching to the NLT and select plant leaders on Leadership Fundamentals, to improve operational performance and organizational effectiveness.
• Design, develop, implement, and review the effectiveness of interventions to support leaders in enhancing their teams’ effectiveness.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Leadership Effectiveness Events and programs, including the Excellence in Nuclear Leadership Program (EiNLP), Leadership Training Advisory Committee (TAC) and Integrated Issue Resolution Process (IIRP) to ensure alignment across all Organization Effectiveness operations.
• Facilitate the CNO Majlis, and other interventions, to enhance employee engagement with senior leaders.
• Assist in embedding the “AT SITE” Values in the organization to build and enhance a strong culture across the enterprise (Nawah, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), and Barakah One Company (BOC)).
• Provide support in the planning, arranging, and facilitating NLT Retreats, to maintain a focus on Leadership Effectiveness.
• Lead the implementation of recommendations from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Report (SOER) 10-2 “Engaged Thinking Organizations” to drive performance improvement.
• Assist in the assessments against the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) Performance Objectives and Criteria (PO&Cs) that relate to OR to ensure the highest operational standards and support the WANO Pre-Start Up Review (PSUR).
• Provide insights and recommendations to Line Manager on Leadership Effectiveness Program issues to improve organizational effectiveness and prepare for assessments conducted by the Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB), Committee on Nuclear Power (CNP) or other regulatory and oversight bodies/entities.
• Conduct and review assessments of the ‘Leadership Attributes’ from the INPO 15-005 ‘Leadership and Team Effectiveness Attributes’, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations on Leadership Effectiveness issues to continuously improve the program

Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
Min - 5 years of relevant experience.
Pref -
• 7 years in leadership effectiveness/coaching in safety critical industries and implementing behavioral change interventions across an organization.
• 2 years’ experience working in a leadership position in the Nuclear Industry in the field of organizational behavior, i.e., Leadership Effectiveness, Performance Improvement, Human Factors, Organizational Effectiveness, Safety Culture, Human Performance or similar.
• Background in implementation of team effectiveness and leadership effectiveness and performance improvement.
• 5 years’ experience in Human Factors or Crew Resource Management (CRM), with operating crews in safety critical industries, or Licensed Nuclear Operator with training, out of which:
- 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in operational role in command-and-control environmentLicensed Operator, Accredited to Assess Personality Profiles, Instructor Certification, Coaching Certification.
