Job Purpose

To support the Financial Planning Controller in analyzing potential investments to ensure the availability of the accurate information and the achievement of the business plans based on set objectives and KPIs

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Responsibility:  
•    Assist in analyzing potential investments including companies and organizations independent of ENEC to ensure the availability of all required financial information
•    Support ongoing development & maintenance of the financial model to evaluate financing options and of the lenders’ model, including running scenarios and sensitivities
•    Responsibility: Assess companies and potential investments to ensure the accurate business plans regarding potential investors are accurately developed
•    Analyze and understand of transaction process in an acquisition to ensure protection on ENEC financial position  
•    Consolidate the required information for the development of the business plan to ensure linkage with the budgeting process
•    Monitor business performance using KPIs to ensure achievement against targeted objectives
•    Facilitate communication both internally and externally in order to build and nurture mutually beneficial working relationships
•    Follow all relevant departmental HSE policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to ensure HSE compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying these HSE policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety of people, or the environment, who are at the employee's place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or closely related degree

Experience

5 years relevant experience in valuation and transactions
Experience in a large organization
CFA, CA/CPA, ACT or equivalent
