Job Purpose

Develop, Implement, operate and maintain necessary programs, processes and procedures to support the implementation, operation and maintenance of Enterprise Business Ethics and Compliance Program (Program) at ENEC and its subsidiaries (together the Enterprise).

Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

Enterprise Business Ethics and Compliance Program Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:   
•    Implement the Compliance and Ethics Program for the Enterprise based on international best practices and standards -- and also in line with the strategic objectives, core values, expectations of the several Regulators and ADQ (i.e., ENEC’s parent company) using necessary programs, policies and procedures.
•    Support implementing and maintaining necessary governance processes such as the Enterprise Compliance Council and the Enterprise Business Ethics and Compliance Review Board, for advice and oversight.
•    Establish the necessary performance indicators to measure the performance of the Enterprise Business Ethics and Compliance Program as well as the compliance status of the business functions.
•    Identify and analyze improvement opportunities and include them as part of self-assessment initiatives of the compliance function.
•    Coordinate and support the overall implementation of software tools to automate the processes of the Program.
•    Manage and maintain close liaison with the Compliance Ambassadors and Compliance Area Leads in support to the implementation of the Program. 
•    Prepare periodic Business Ethics and Compliance reports using the tools implemented to monitor performance of the program. 
•    Develop necessary Program documentation and template to ensure appropriate records are maintained as required in the appropriate Controlled Document Management System.

Business Ethics Program – Implementing Enterprise Code of General Business Principles and Ethics (COE):
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 
•    Review and update the Code of General Business Principles and Ethics and the Supplier Code of Conduct as and when necessary to ensure currency. 
•    Train employees and other stakeholders on the Code of Ethics to ensure compliance.
•    Ensure that the COE related declarations such as the annual acknowledgement & disclaimer and Conflict of interest are obtained from all employees and maintained.
•    Monitor the Conflict of Interest and Gifts and Entertainment declarations, identify potential issues and report status periodically.
•    Support the Enterprise Business Ethics and Compliance Manager to manage the reported Conflict of Interest situations. 
•    Coordinate with Employee Relations to follow up on the disciplinary actions on violations to the Enterprise Code of Ethics as specified from various Committees.   
•    Review and continually improve the COE related training methods such as E Learning, Self Study, Instructor Led training, to the new joiners as well as existing employees to promote an ethical and compliance culture.
•    Support managing reported noncompliance issues with the COE.
•    Conduct Exit Interviews with the departing employees to identify noncompliance issues that were not reported, and analyze data to identify and escalate potential issues of noncompliance.

Professional Certifications

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Science or  Engineering or Law or Auditing or  Business administration or equivalent
•    5 years of relevant experience.
 

Experience

•    Post Graduate Degree in Science,  Engineering, Law, Audit or Business Administration
•    10 years of industrial experience of which 5 years in risk, or compliance related functions as a Senior Analyst or as an Internal Auditor.
