Job Purpose
Lead the Work Management (WM) and Outage Management (OUT) functional support for the implementation of regulatory requirements and guidelines. Prepare functional development plans, including preparations for key assessments and meetings.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Activity:
Program Development and Implementation
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Lead the development and maintenance of the functional development plans through Unit 1 Fuel Load and Substantial Completion for the WM and OUT planned and forces outages to ensure plant operational readiness.
•Lead the implementation of the functional development plans to ensure alignment across departments:
o Assess the Korean nuclear power plant work management practices and ascertain what Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) will provide, and what Nawah will adopt and adapt to ensure functional program requirements are met.
o Review the adequacy of the Operations Management System (OMS) to ensure alignment with WM and Outage planning processes and procedures.
o Participate in the transition of work management-related activities between KEPCO and Nawah to diffuse knowledge across the organization.
o Develop the functional operating models to ensure that due consideration is given to nuclear safety.
o Identify the functional capabilities to support the day-to-day operation of the nuclear power plant.
o Identify the functional building blocks such as Process, Plant, and People and the cross-referencing of those functional building blocks to the functional capabilities enabled such as Documentation and OMS; Systems, equipment, and tools to ensure operational readiness.
o Verify that World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) performance objectives are met to ensure operational excellence.
•Provide identification and scoping support with respect to the administrative procedures governing nuclear and non-nuclear activities associated with WM and OUT functions to ensure alignment of program development and implementation activities.
•Liaise between Nawah plant support organizations, as required, to ensure the successful implementation of the WM and OUT functions.
•Participate in the preparations for, and conduct of, WANO assist visits and assessment by the Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other regulatory / oversight entities to ensure alignment with industry best practices, guidelines and regulations.
•Provide Functional Support WM and OUT line managers, as directed, to achieve the highest level of plant operational support.
Program Development Oversight
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Review and assess the context of the Nawah Operating Model and the status of program development for the WM and OUT (planned outages and forced outages) functions to ensure programs meet procedural requirements and industry leading practices.
Staff Training and Qualification
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Develop appropriate training plans, training materials, and awareness sessions to ensure personnel receive the necessary training and skills required for their development.
•Keep current with nuclear power plant work management and outage planning best practices, updating colleagues (as appropriate) to diffuse knowledge throughout the organization.

Planning, Monitoring, and Reporting
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
•Provide functional support to Line Manager by ensuring that the WM and OUT functional development schedules are updated and maintained to ensure accuracy and up-to-date.
•Maintain program data and performance metrics, and tracking progress against key indicators to measure performance of functional programs.
•Prepare of required progress reports to management, and support the formal presentation of those progress reports, in order to communicate performance to stakeholders.
