Job Title: Mechanical Lead (RCS)
Job Purpose
Lead mechanical Reactor Coolant System (RCS) turbine and refuel services, including those provided by contractors, for Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) outages to achieve the long-term outage plan and meet outage schedules to ensure overall business performance objectives are achieved in accordance to Nawah standards and procedures.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
Reactor Coolant Systems
• Perform RCS maintenance and inspections to maintain highly functioning equipment and support safe operations.
• Perform RCS performance monitoring & non-destructive evaluation (NDE) testing to maintain system fidelity and support safe operations.
• Perform RCS component replacements to ensure RCS is safe, reliable, and efficient.
RCS Support
• Perform engineering activities associated with RCS to maintain system fidelity and support safe operations.
• Establish performance monitoring plan for RCS to maintain highly functioning equipment and minimize corrective maintenance needs.
• Perform technical review regarding plant design changes or temporary modifications to ensure plant safety is not impacted and maintain operational excellence.
• Request procurement for equipment spare parts to remain prepared for any plant modification needs related to RCS.
• Develop documents related to installation and service contracts and provide oversight on maintenance activities to ensure contracted services are delivered efficiently.
• Review and revise RCS related procedures to ensure procedures are available and relevant.
• Perform periodic and surveillance tests as required to support daily plant operations.
• Administer equipment and material master data updates to ensure inventory is properly managed at BNPP.
• Perform technical administrative duties as assigned by department Manager to support daily activities.

• Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on self, others and Corporate assets.
• Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related Science.
• 8 years of relevant experience, out of which:
- 1 year in a nuclear power plant engineering.
