Job Title: Design/Systems Technical Expert
Job Purpose
The function of the engineer is to act as technical experts in the area of design engineering and systems engineering to perform subject matter expert duties including
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability
• Perform detailed technical review/comment of project vendor output/deliverables and work with engineering lead to satisfactorily resolve any issues from the reviews.
• Perform technical reviews of design basis changes, calculation verification and margin analysis for NSSS systems and impacted auxliliary systems
• Perform technical reviews of safety case updates and changes to the analysis of record.
• Technical review of markups of procedures, technical specifications and FSAR changes for verification of accuracy.
• Provide technical support for the license change request (LCR) submittal.
• Support response to technical queries from the regulator.
• Support development of the implementation plan and actions for change management once preparation of the the LCR is completed.
• Act as owner's agent in conjunction with engineering lead for review and submittal of final acceptance of project deliverables to the Nawah Design Authority.
• Compilation of plant operating data in a format required by the engineering lead and project manager for transmittal to the vendor(s).
• Compilation and organization of plant design data as required by the project vendor; management of information and reports in the Nawah project team eRoom.
• Ensuring all required documentation and design outputs are provided in the approved Nawah procedures and processes and submittal for document retention.
• Services not specified in this Agreement but necessary for the proper performance and completion of the project shall be performed by the project engineers and are deemed to be Included in, and to form part of, the project services.

Bachelor's Degree
Experience
• BS/BSc in Engineering prefer I&C, Mechanical or Nuclear
• Previous experience in performing or reviewing updated safety cases, design reviews/updates including calculation updates and margin analysis, technical specification and FSAR revisions and updates.
• Experience with I&C engineering and instrument drift analysis and design reviews, design basis reviews/updates including calculation updates and margin analysis.
• Previous Experience with 18 to 24 Month Fuel Cycle projects preferred.
